This is a charming farmhouse quilt, circa 1920s, using authentic feedsack and calico prints arranged in a Railroad Quilt pattern. Completely hand-quilted in a lovely diamond cross-hatch pattern and backed with soft white cotton, the binding of this quilt has been hand-stitched to both sides. The cotton batting is lightweight.
This quilt is in good condition and is more than 90% intact, but is being listed as a cutter quilt due to the shattered/shattering fabrics (see photos), age-related fading and extensive fraying of the binding.
It is approximately 66 inches by 68 inches. From a smoke-free and pet-free home.
