Vintage 1930s Lone Star Quilt - Hand-Quilted Pastel Feedsack Fabric (78x81)

Stunning vintage Lone Star Quilt, hand-stitched and circa 1930s, this quilt's design features a dramatic radiating star made from hundreds of diamonds sewn from 1930s feed sack and dress-print fabrics in lovely pastels. The fabrics include pink novelty prints, bright feedsack florals, blue gingham, 1930s novelty prints, yellow lattice stripes and cheerful greens. The quilt is completely hand-quilted with perfectly straight and even tiny stitches in outlines of the patchwork and in diamonds in the white areas and along the four-sided blue border.

The back is white cotton as is the binding which has been machine stitched to the front and hand-stitched to the back. The cotton batting is very lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent vintage condition with no condition issues noted.

The quilt measures 78 inches by 81 inches and is shown on a queen-size bed.
