Vintage Lonestar 1930s Quilt – Depression Era Cutter Quilt – Hand Quilted -- 71"x71"

This striking vintage Lonestar quilt dates to approximately 1935–1945 and features a bold, colorful Star of Bethlehem design hand pieced from classic mid-century cotton solids. The palette includes turquoise blue, teal green, lavender, chrome yellow, and a soft peachy-pink star center set against a light background.

It is hand quilted in outlines of the patchwork and in an expert, tightly done crosshatch grid with complex floral motifs at each of the four corners.

This beautiful quilt is sturdy and displays beautifully, but unfortunately has some visible fabric loss and thinning, particularly at the star center, along with scattered discolorations and seam wear. For these reasons, it is being sold as a cutter or crafting quilt, but it is still lovely and mostly intact with some spectacular quilting.
