Antique Double T Quilt (Top is c1880-1900) – Long-Arm Finished – 64” x 76”

This striking quilt has an antique top that has been hand-pieced (likely between 1880 and 1910) and kept as an "orphan top" for over a century before being professionally finished with modern long-arm quilting. The quilting is in curlicues and swirls.

The Double T pattern is a classic geometric design that has been constructed from:
• Indigo Discharge Prints: Deep navy blues with crisp white geometric "poked" patterns.
• Antique "Double Pink": Also known as Bubblegum or Cinnamon pink, a staple of the late 19th-century palette. 
• Shirting Prints: The background features various "low volume" black-on-white and blue-on-white prints typical of the era.

The back is a retro-cotton floral while the binding is very narrow blue cotton that has been machine stitched to the front and hand-stitched in very tiny stitches to the back. The cotton batting is very lightweight.

Condition: The quilt is in excellent condition with no condition issues noted.
