Vintage 1930s Scrappy Double Wedding Ring Quilt – Feedsack Fabrics – 72 x 82

This beautiful antique Double Wedding Ring quilt dates to the late 1930s–early 1940s and is made from a charming mix of feedsack and scrap fabrics. It has been hand-pieced and hand-quilted, with the hand-quilting in cross-hatch/starbursts in the white blocks and in outlines of the hundreds of 1-inch by 2-inch patches that make up the rings. Pink and blue four-patches connect the rings.

The back is white cotton while the binding is blue cotton that has been hand-stitched to both sides. The cotton batting is very lightweight.

The quilt is in very good vintage condition with a fraying binding. It is overall sturdy and intact.
