This is a striking mid-century Orange Peel Quilt dating to the 1950s and featuring a two-toned cheddar and orange patchwork set against a crisp white ground. The hand-quilting is in outlines of the patchwork, including along the four-sided scalloped edge.
The back is white cotton as is the binding that has been machine-stitched to the back and hand-stitched to the front. The cotton batting is lightweight.
CONDITION: The quilt has been soaked and hand-washed and is in excellentncondition with no issues noted.
