This is a wonderful Barn Raising Log Cabin Quilt from the 1940s-1950s made from dozens of log cabin blocks, each about 7 inches square. Foundation pieced onto muslin, the quilt has a four-sided floral border and a red, green and white geometric-patterned back. The quilt has been knife-edge finished and closed with machine stitching. It has very lightweight cotton batting.
