Vintage Folk Art Rooster Wall Hanging / Textile Tapestry – Signed “Mary Jane Harris” – 24” x 40”

This vintage 1970s or 1980s folk art rooster wall hanging features a large appliquéd rooster with layered free-form fabric details, textured stitching, and dimensional tail feathers. This handcrafted piece has a palette of saturated reds, oranges, yellows, and pinks, while the checked border adds a country cottage feel.

The rooster is accented with hand stitching and textured appliqué work, and the piece is signed “Mary Jane Harris” in stitched lettering near the lower edge.

The back is a peach linen that has been finished like a curtain with a separate hem for the back. See photos. There are also display rings sewn into the top.
