Vintage 1960s Patriotic Quilt | Hand Quilted Red, White & Blue Stars | 86” x 98”

This is a striking Patriotic Quilt made in the 1960s-1970s, featuring bold red, white, and navy blue color stars and stripes arranged in alternating geometric blocks.

The quilt is entirely hand quilted, with quilting that includes outlines of the patchwork along with stars and additional geometric motifs across the body of the quilt and into the borders. The back is white cotton while the quilt has been knife edge finished and handstitched closed. The batting is lightweight.

CONDITION: The quilt is in excellent vintage condition. Please examine the photographs as they form an important part of the description. The quilt has been soaked, freshly hand washed and line dried, giving it a light, natural, sun-dried cotton scent (not artificially fragranced).
