This vintage Nine Patch quilt dates to the 1940s to early 1950s and features a coordinated collection of cotton prints in soft pink, aqua green, sage, brown, and burgundy.
The quilt is constructed from small squares arranged in a traditional patchwork design from fabrics that include floral prints, gingham checks, stripes, windowpane plaids, and geometric patterns. The quilting is by sewing machine and follows a simple grid pattern that generally follows the patchwork.
The back is a solid pale yellow cotton while the binding is a tan cotton with geometric pattern that has been machine stitched to both sides. The cotton batting is lightweight.
CONDITION: Very good vintage condition with no stains, holes or fabric loss noted. Please examine the photographs carefully as they form an important part of the description.
